TELEWORK IS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE, HOWEVER, STAFF MAY BE REQUIRED TO REPORT TO THEIR ASSIGNED HEADQUARTERS AS BUSINESS NEEDS ARISE.
Are you looking for a fast-paced and challenging position that will provide you with extremely valuable senior management experience, extensive variety, and frequent exposure to executives, managers and staff in the Information Technology (IT) Branch? The Employment Development Department (EDD) is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Information Technology Manager (ITM) II to manage the Financial & Strategy Management Office. The office is comprised of the IT Procurement Group, Cost Management Group, IT Legistlative, Audit and Policy Group, IT Asset Management Group, and Resource Management Group. The ITM II develops policy, strategic and operational plans to guide the Section in serving internal and external customers. The ITM II provides leadership, direction, oversight, coaching, and mentoring to the subordinate managers and staff. This position is headquartered in Sacramento and may be eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office, as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee.
